Way too excited! I have put in over 120 hours into the packs available on the 3ds and hold some of the highest scores in Australia! I am all ready to get paranormal and Plants v Zombies to start with on my WiiU but know I will most likely buy the rest even though I have a few of them. Thanks everyone at Zen! Awesome stuff! One very happy 38 year old gamer here! Cheers Rick Hynes

  7. Pingback: Zen Pinball 2 “coming very soon” to the North American Wii U eShop | Nintendo Everything

  8. darkswabber says:

why aren’t the street fighter table and the ninja gaiden table included?

  9. Mellloyellow says:

Is the ressaon for NA getting Zen Pinball 2 late Nintendo’s or Zen Studio’s fault

  10. Jeffrey says:

Will there also be a free table included?
(Like Mars on Pinball FX2 or Sorcerer’s Lair on ZEN Pinball HD)

  11. mellloyellow says:

how to close are you to finalizing the game with Nintendo of America

  12. Thedreaminhawk says:

Oh man, MEGA MAN II AND ZEN PINBALL 2 ON THE SAME DAY. There should be a Mega man pinball table then!

  13. Kiiier_Paul says:

What time does the Wii U store update?

  14. KAE says:

MAKE IT CLEARER THAT YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE TRIAL VERSION EVEN IF YOU BUY THE TABLE!

  15. Braqoon says:

I probably know the answer to it but :

Is there any way i can transfer my purchased tables from x360 to WiiU version ? I got 4 tables on x360 ? Not really keen on buying them again.

    Anyway i love the game.

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Unfortunately there is no way for us to transfer purchases across platforms made by different companies. Sorry for any inconvenience.

      • Braqoon says:

I have just checked the demo and in UK table is less than £2.50 . I can live with that, especially i can play only on a gamepad if i need to give TV to my MRS. Happy days.

        Thanks

Is the game zen pinball 2 on 3d on the wii u

  17. scott watson says:

I have paid for some tables but they don’t show up on the game please

  18. Lynox5 says:

Already bought PvZ, Sorcerer’s Lair and Captain America and loving them!. Too bad I already own 8 tables on 3DS. I’m not buying them again (except C.A, because that’s an awesome table).

Are there more tables coming in the near future? I would love that :)

  19. Jeffrey says:

The game is amazing! Love the music of it. Will you release an OST of it?

Keep up the good work! :D

  20. Tom says:

Loving this on Wii U – one little bug, on the Spiderman table using View 6 when you get the orange pumpkin(?) ball it jumps out to a full table view, when the ball is lost the view doesn’t go back to view 6.

  21. Dennis says:

Soooo….how much longer for Zen Pinball 2 for the Wii U here in the US?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Hopefully not much longer! We’re hoping to get our release date soon and release the game before the end of the month.

  22. yann2211 says:

When we will get those pinball tables on the Wiiu ? tank for your answer.

  23. Zack says:

That is ridiculous, every time you talk “we release very soon” and every time all of us need to wait to the final of the month… i waited more from Zen Studios…

  24. louie nocca says:

  31. ZionPsalmist777 says:

okies, hopefully we’ll see it forthcoming by early summertime, I’m a very patient person, other question, is ZP for Will-U Launching 12:01 Midnight tomorrow morning?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

No I believe the eShop updates sometime in the late morning/early afternoon. We’ll post the news as soon as it’s up.

  32. lilbee says:

the site says today but it’s not in the e shop. Why?

  33. ZionPsalmist777 says:

cause they being LaZy putting it on the E-sHoP

    • BarbieBobomb says:

We don’t control when the eShop is updated, that is up to Nintendo. As soon as the game is live I will post an update.

  34. lilbee says:

how did you get that answer?

  35. lilbee says:

    well? what’s happening

  36. lilbee says:

i talked to one and he told me to call zen.

  37. lilbee says:

    its up now. yes finally

  38. Aj says:

I already own this on Xbox, but I’d get it on Wii U if you made some proprietary tables, like Smash Bros, or Metroid. Maaaannn that would be sweet.

  39. BarbieBobomb says:

    It’s up now :)

  40. ZionPsalmist777 says:

maybe it just me, but seems like Wii-U version looks much more improved over the PS3 version, any feedback folks?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Both have different features, for example, the PSN version has 3D capability and online multiplayer while the Wii U version does not. The Wii U version does have some cool features that PSN does not, like being able to play on the gamepad.

  41. ZionPsalmist777 says:

I own both PS3 & WII-U, but WII-U the graphics seems a bit more refined and crisp and a bit more detailed, only use I have for PS3 besides games is for 3D Movies and mainly only to view 3D movies thru PS3, don’t care much for 3D games on PS3

  42. Guardian Hero says:

Will you allow us to import tables from Zen Pinball 2 for Wii U to the inevitable Zen Pinball 3 once you’ve refined your pinball formula to warrant releasing a sequel, and provided that sequel also comes to the Wii U? And if not, then will owning the ZP2 tables allow a discount on ZP3 editions of those tables, perhaps via download code?

I ask this because I’ve noticed a couple of glitches while playing trials of your various pinball games, such as the ball going through flipperbats, or a saved ball going on consistently different paths when played on different consoles (ie: In Blade on 3DS, a saved ball will bounce toward the upper right flipperbat almost every time, whereas on the same table for the Wii U, it will almost never do this).

Also, I don’t want to have ZP2 and ZP3 taking up HDD space at the same time.

While I’m here, there are a couple of other questions if it’s not too much trouble:

Will you implement a system for gifting tables to your friends, since they can already download the base game for free?

Will you R&D a multiplayer simultaneous pinball game, where multiple players play on the same table?

Sorry if that’s too many questions. I have a small blog where I focus on how games can improve in their next iteration. You people seem really passionate about pinball, as is evident in this game, so I would love to see some advancement in the pinball genre with the Wii U.

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Sorry, no info on the next iteration of Zen Pinball 2, we’re currently just working on making Zen Pinball 2 a great game on Wii U. We have definitely been interested in doing split screen online multiplayer, but no word on if/when that is a possibility. As for gifting tables, it would probably just be easiest to get your friends Nintendo points cards.

      • Guardian Hero says:

Thanks for the reply! Naturally, you’ll want to make sure people have sunk a good amount of time into Zen Pinball 2 before even considering the future of the series.

Regarding multi-player, I was only throwing one of many possible ideas out there as to how the genre of pinball itself could be advanced within the realm of video games without sacrificing the core experience. I’ve been a big fan of pinball all of my life, and would love to see it catch on with the new generation of game enthusiasts.

Regarding the gifting, I was going to just go to my friend’s place and buy the Epic Quest tables on his machine with my own cash, so that we could dive into score-battling with each other right away. The gifting and download codes are an idea for the future, though.

  43. Robert White says:

I just wish that Zen would fix two tiny things about Pinball FX2 on Xbox…

    (1) on Rome. The kickbacks. The voice. It’s pronounced mah.keen.ah not machine-a

    (2) on Blade. The “portcullus”. You _raise_ a portcullus to allow passage and lower it to block the entrance. The message you display when the the lane opens is “portcullus lowered”… that’s backwards.

Yes, these are not real gameplay things. I still like blade. I winge every time the kickbacks go off on Rome so I don’t play it as much.

  44. Lilbee says:

    this game is awesome.

  45. kalimergo says:

Hello ! Great game ! When star wars comes on the zen pinball’s wii u?
And a little bugs with the flippers, they don’t respond very good all the times. It is normal?

    Sorry for my bad english….

  46. kalimergo says:

oh and another thing, the music is a bit loud during the launch screen

    thank you !

  47. Pete says:

I have purchased 14 table tops, they’re great. However, when I received your last update, yesterday , 3/27, I lost all the tables. When I try to enter the app it crashes sending right back to the zen icon. How do I recover? I have left a voice mail via your customer sic phone. Thanks, Pete

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Hi Pete, just restart your device while online and that should fix the crashing issue. Once in the app, hit the shopping cart icon to restore your tables.

  48. Blizzaga says:

Fantastic game for the Wii U! I’m super-hyped for the Star Wars tables! :D

  49. Jason says:

Hey barbie and crew at Zen!

I wanted to make note of a bug I feel is happening on the Wii U version. When someone deletes their save data due to statistics are uneven or perhaps the player was careless about how many times they restarted a table, the statistics are cleaned but the game saves their score and says beat your friend “your name” and you end up on the leader boards twice. I thought id let you know so that if the U users want to they should be able to have the ability to delete their statistics and have the leader board reflect this, I dont know if its really a bug with the game itself or this is how nintendo had it when they brought it to the eshop. Just something to consider.

Many of the Miiverse community is wanting nintendo themed tables for their version so i thought though you may look at things there as a prideful “user” would say I figured perhaps thinking of working with Nintendo to perhaps make say a “Megaman” “Mario” or even perhaps “a “Smash bros” based table that combines most aspects would be nice I know some of the kids are talking about Pokemon, but if your doing something like that perhaps we should go back to the classic pokemon with ash misty and brock before he went to johto. Anyways thought id make you aware of this and perhaps some other voices of the community .. anyways thanks for your time

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Thanks for the report! As for the Nintendo table requests–I’ve seen them! I’m on Miiverse a lot and I know people really want them :)

  50. TONIO-BAGDAD says:

when organizing tournaments for the wii u????? thanks this game is really realistic……i’m record man in italy and i want to challange more guys and you team zen studios uuauaauauuaua

  51. ZionPsalmist777 says:

one month later and still no star wars for wii-U, demo or buyable, what gives?

  52. KurOhki says:

Since it doesn’t seem to be anywhere on here… just wondering what the details are about the inability to connect to the servers are. I just purchased tables for this game because reviews said it was great but when I went to connect with a friend, it said I needed an internet connection. I didn’t know what was up till I checked MiiVerse. Would’ve been nice to have a notice of server issues on the e-Shop before we spent the money.

    • BarbieBobomb says:

We are aware of it and working on a fix :)

      • KurOhki says:

Thank you BarbieBobomb… I appreciate your response. Do you know if Nintendo is working with developers to allow them special “developer accounts” on MiiVerse so that you all can interact & post directly to your game’s community with info such as this? :)

  53. avert_from_the_norm says:

i downloaded it recently, and it prevented me from continuing to play any of the tables after only 5 minutes, telling me i had to actually purchase it. somewhere care to tell me how i can play this for free properly?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

To play them for longer than the trial time, you have to purchase each table or table pack.

    • Guardian Hero says:

The PLATFORM is free, meaning the software that holds the basic pinball rules and prevents your Wii U Menu from being filled up and cluttered with pinball tables and pinball demos, that is what is free. These are some quality pinball tables, worth paying the 3-bucks-or-less that they’re charging for each.

If you just saw the word “free” and decided you were getting a free full game, then you were only deceiving yourself.

  54. Chris Goodhead says:

Hello zen people. I love zen pinball 2 on wii u. Just two things though; please fix the online bug following the latest update. And please fix the view bug on Spider-Man where it doesn’t return to your original up the table views after say, multiball events. Other than that… Fantastic. Best game on wii u.

  55. Guardian Hero says:

The article’s finally up! Sorry for it taking so long, but I really wanted to try and make it longer than it is. For the most part, you all did a great job, and there are only a few glaring issues that can be fixed with a simple patch.

  56. ZionPsalmist777 says:

how are the star wars & Nintendo themed tables coming along?

  57. ZionPsalmist777 says:

saw star wars pack for PS3 & bought but is still a no show for Wii-U Eshop

  58. ZionPsalmist777 says:

is it just me or does not the makers of Zen Pinball like keeping us PS3/Wii-U Owners updated?
This is the kind of thanks we get for faithfully buying their software

    • BarbieBobomb says:

We’ll post news on news for Wii U and PS3 as soon as we can–currently working on bringing Star Wars Pinball to Wii U, and making more Star Wars tables for various platforms :)

  59. ZionPsalmist777 says:

and a reply from March 21 doesn’t count for something that was asked this month, or even last month
