  1. Gene Jacket says:

What does this mean for the folks that already have it on consoles? I’ve got all the Star Wars and Marvel tables and I assume I’ll have to buy them again. Will we retain our scores from the console versions on Steam?

  2. Kianouch says:

Will we be able to get the tables we bought on the Windows 8 Xbox Live Arcade for free on Steam ?

  3. shaderbytes says:

if the FX2 Core Collection can be released on pc .. why not to ps3..?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

They are exclusive to the Pinball FX2 title, but we’d love them to make the jump someday :)

  4. Rick Roubos says:

It would be a shame if we’re expected to buy the tables again, especially if it requires games for windows live.

  5. DJ says:

curious about cabinet view? or same as Windows 8 version?

  6. travis says:

I was wondering is it possiable to preorder it and if so will there be a deal for early buyers like some game you get a dlc table or something free? I have steam and would like to play it just would rather buy it now and download it next week while i still have extra money to do so.

  7. Rick Roubos says:

Received confirmation on twitter that any tables you purchased on the 360 version do not transfer to the PC version.

    • Baz says:

And the windows 8 version ?

      • Rick Roubos says:

I don’t think the XBOX 360 tables migrated over to the Windows 8 version either but I do believe Zen Pinball purchases on the PS3 migrate to the PSP Vita version.

It’s a fun game but I already bought most of the tables once. This Kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

        • BarbieBobomb says:

They don’t, the only cross buy opportunities are between PS3 & Vita at this point. Sorry!

  8. Pinballfan69 says:

At the very least I might just go ahead and buy Pasha, Bio-lab, Secrets of the deep, Rome for steam just to play those tables. Also I wouldn’t have to buy a whole new console just to play those great looking tables that figure would never see the light of day on my PS3. Now the disappointing part about this is that i won’t be able to play these tables with my friends on my PS3 list for score chasing as well as putting my top 20 scores on most if not all my tables I already own on the leader boards without paying for all the tables another time.

As much as I love Zen I feel like it’s a slap in the face to us PS3 fans. I know you want to bring PBFX2 core tables to PS3 but the comments ‘We would to do it………………………… someday’ Really sounds like it will never happen.

    • BarbieBobomb says:

We are a very small team with a lot going on. We want to publish as many of our tables on as many platforms as possible (I think we’re up to 11 platforms now!) and the core tables are on the to-do list and they get requested all the time, but they are just not a huge priority right now. We’ll do our best to make it happen at some point, but with a small team with huge projects, things are always getting shuffled around. Don’t worry though, we know people really want this to happen :)

  9. atlantis1982 says:

I do not suppose you could have those Marvel and Star Wars table sales to continue so that us soon-to-be PC owners can take advantage? ;)

    • BarbieBobomb says:

Unfortunately not this time, sorry! I’ll post as soon as we have news on any upcoming sales :)

  10. Tim "Lord Gek" Jordan says:

    Hey Guys,

Great news! I’m a huge fan but already own all of the iOS releases. Which packs would have minimal to no overlap with the iOS previously released tables?

  11. Freelance says:

Hi!!! I have Zen Pinball 2 on PS3 and Vita. So this Steam version actually comes with the tables that are exclusive to the 360??? There’s several tables with themes that I enjoy but I was sad I couldn’t get them on the Vita. If you can bring these to the PC, why can’t you do the same on the PS3/Vita?

I wish I could get them on PC but alas, I can’t buy anything online for a long while (I lost my job) so oh well.

    • BarbieBobomb says:

They are currently Microsoft exclusives and Microsoft Studios is publishing this on Steam with us.

Sorry to hear about losing your job – hope things turn around for you soon! :)

  12. Freelance says:

Oops I forgot to ask if the Steam version supports gamepads, and not just the 360 pad because I have PC controller. I can’t stand playing pinball without gamepads.

Oh, I see. PC version is published by MS so that explains why these tables are on it.

  13. Peter says:

I have this on the Vita – it is ace.

Is the PC version going to support portrait mode? My new monitor has a rotate feature and this would be really cool.

    azzo

  14. Robert says:

I totally understand if there is no cabinet support initially, no problem with that. However, will there be a portrait mode so that cabinet players can at least play without a backglass/dmd support? If the answer yes, I will buy every table eheh

  15. Mat says:

Would love to see this on Linux.

  16. Large Coffee says:

Is the Steam version going to be GFWL?

  17. joakim says:

any plans on 3 monitor support, play field, dmd, backglass ala visual pinball ? alternatively release an api so we can sort this out our self? ;)

    best regards
    /j

    • BarbieBobomb says:

At launch there will be portrait mode support and later on we’ll add more features for those of you making pin cabs :)

  18. Snotz says:

Any word on supporting devices, such as pinDMD and pinDMD2 for those with cabinets? I am one of the developers that helped code pinDMD/pinDMD2 into the PinMAME dll.

  19. DaverJ says:

    What’s the difference between Zen2 and FX2?

Looking forward to the Steam version!!!!

  20. emmanuel says:

thanks, I have xbox ps3 psvita and today I have zen pinball on my pc now . it is a great version. I play zen pinball for my fantasy pinball and pinball arcade for my real pinball.i think both zen pinball and pinball arcade are really great.zen thankyou very much.

  21. Marco says:

    Hi there,
I’ve bought pinball fx on xbox360, after pinball fx2 and all the table, you plan to make a sort of discount to re-buy all the table for the Steam version? honestly i would like to play on PC instead of console, but rebuy everything again at full price is not smart :D

  22. FeRRoX says:

    Hi,

your Star Wars Table Pack on Steam doesn’t work. Many people are complaining about this issue in the Steam Community Hub. Steam Support doesn’t react yet and your Community Manager is offline for nearly 16 hours now.

When is anybody going to fix this or at least tell us what is going on and when we will be able to play our purchased tables?

    Thanks
    FX

  23. Steven says:

AWESOME ! Zen delivers again. Thanks. Downloading as we speak and lookin forward to the portrait mode view.

A central cross platform highscore system would be awesome in the future to though. Even if its just the possibility to sync your local platform dependant highscores to a central location accessible via webinterface or something (and vice verca) :)

  24. Judy says:

I wish your company would allow me to play the PC-purchased version on an Android device for free. Why? Because I can buy the cheaper Android version and then install BlueStacks (Bluestacks.com) on my PC and run the apps for free on my PC. A big savings. However, I do plan to purchase several of the PC versions of the pinball games that came with the Steam trial version of Zen Pinball HD.

  25. Pinballer says:

So on the PS3 if we had already bought all the tables and would also like to play it on computer thru Steam. What are the “cross buy opportunities available are between PS3 & PS Vita” that you mention.

How do I activate a table that I purchased on PS3 for Zen Pinball 2 on Pinball FX on Steam? Do you have a readme you could point me to for this? Thanks in advance

    • BarbieBobomb says:

That means that you can only import between PS3 & Vita, sorry. We don’t have a way to transfer purchased tables between PSN & Steam.

  26. PinballLover says:

Are there plans to release more tables for the PC (Steam) like “Nightmare House”, “Paranormal” and “Plants vs Zombies” etc. ? I need them quick! I’m a Pinball Junkie ;-)
