Dr. Strange Pinball Table Coming December 2013

The greatest powers of the occult, both from our own world and the darkest dimensions in existence, are combining their forces to take over Earth. And only one man can stop them – Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme! With the help of the beautiful Clea and his faithful servant Wong, the Master of the Mystic Arts faces his greatest challenge ever in Doctor Strange pinball, the newest addition to the Marvel Pinball library.

Strange’s rival sorcerer Baron Mordo has called upon the demonic forces of the Dread Dormammu and the Fear Lord, Nightmare, all part of his plot to assume the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme for himself. Meanwhile, Shuma-Gorath, the Lord of Chaos, resides in the background with nefarious plans of his own…

Numerous voice over lines and situations were adapted from 50 years of Doctor Strange comic books for this table, including the classic first two issues of DOCTOR STRANGE, SORCERER SUPREME (1988), wherein Dormammu threatened our dimension by overtaking Strange in his own body. Only with carefully cast spells (i.e., deadeye shots from you, the player) does Strange hope to stand a chance against inconceivable odds.

  2. John Tidwell says:

  3. ShoryukenToTheChin says:

Looks beyond awesome, can’t wait to be the Pinball Supreme.

  4. Steve Wilshire says:

Love and own EVERY amazing table you guys have EVER made, too bad you guys couldn’t do a Harry Potter series or a Lord Of The Rings / Hobbit series.

  5. Gary Parsons says:

I have them all so far and everyone Is just great. Keep them coming

  6. shogun00 says:

Wow! The colors and lighting look awesome.

  7. lem420 says:

I don’t intend for this to be taken in the negative cuz I love all the tables y’all have made but u need more than Star Wars and Marvel to base your themes on. I’d like to see more originals like Epic Quest(my favorite). It would be really interesting to see what u come up with minus the restraint of Themed tables. On the other hand though u guys are doing incredible things, keep up the good work!

  8. ShoryukenToTheChin says:

This will make a great Christmas present for me, defo going to have a lot to play over the holidays.

  9. Adam says:

You have no idea how happy this has made me. Ever since it was announced (months ago) I have been waiting and drooling. The Sorcerer Supreme, and Zen studios? Is there anything better? Thank you Zen, and thank you Barbie for tolerating my posts waiting for this table.

  10. matt german says:

The table looks great, the details make me giddy, and I love the all the different lighting you seem to be using. Doctor Strange is my favorite comic character and this table looks to encapsulate his essence.
Thanks for all the great tables.

  11. Doccus says:

I hope youi mean it’s coming to OSX.. there havbe been no new ones for a long time for it.. How about the 45 classic tables that every other system already has, such as Rome , V12 etc. Will they EVER be on the Mac?

  12. MissingDjinn says:

When in December is Sr. Strange coming out? Also, off topic, but will you ever release Plants vs Zombies table? I loved that one on Xbox!

  13. travis says:

cant wait for it to release on ps3 and steam. I think this will be a christmas to remember.

  14. David Branch says:

So is Dr. Strange never going to be released on PS3 Marvel Pinball? It’s ZP2 only??

  15. Doccus says:

Post a release date? HAh/.. you said that on purpose to surprise all of us.. It just showed up on my Mac as available.. I’ve already played a game on it. Spectacular, as usual.
Incidentally, although this may not bethe correct forum for it, I have a what *may* be a foolproof working solution now for the “Please wait” issue. Works on any OSX update version. Please somebody double check to see if it works for them also:
Make sure that you are already logged in to the Apple app store BEFORE you start Zen Pinball. When the game starts, you will again get a prompt to log in to the app store. Do not log in just yet. First select the game you wish to purchase.. once you get the prompts to purchase , before you say “OK” then log in to the app store, and you should be able to complete the transaction from that point onwards..
It appears that Zen is unable to “call” the App store application on some update versions. I had purcased the table on Mavericks, but when I switched to Lion I was unable to download the table because I only got “Please wait” It apparently needed to confirm the purchase through the app store, which it wasn’t calling up. I used this procedure by selecting the table, logging in to the App store prompt which had been called up by the start of the game (the only time that ZP2 could call it up) and the game started downloading..
    HTH

    • Doccus says:

Actually a correction..once you get the prompts to purchase, click the prompts as *far as you can* before you MUST log in with Apple..
      HTH …again

  16. Lew N says:

Anyone hear anything about a patch for Marvel Pinball for the Kindle Fire? I wanted to download the Dr. Strange table earlier today and I kept getting a message advising me that I needed to get a patch for Marvel Pinball before I could download the Dr. Strange table…

    Anyone…?

    • BarbieBobomb says:

If you browse the Amazon app store for the game, it should indicate that there is an update. The button on the left should say ”update” after selecting the game.

  17. Daniel says:

I’m sorry, but where and how can i download this table on ps4?? It’s no where to be found. It’s not on the table selections screen nor is it on the playstation store as an add on. I’ve been looking for days, but it’s just not there. Is it available in North America? Someone please help!

    • BarbieBobomb says:

It’s not yet available in North America due to some PSN Store issues, but we should have it ready in the next couple of weeks :)

  18. luca says:

I’m an italian owner of WiiU. Woukd i like know when will be available the table of Doctor Strange for Wii U in the European store.
